Test to evaluate the effectiveness of automatic emergency braking systems in various vehicle-to-vehicle scenarios. The tests simulate realistic traffic situations in order to evaluate the performance of the AEB system. Collision situations with stationary, moving and braking vehicles are tested, as well as intersection scenarios and potential head-on collisions. The system is tested for its ability to recognize hazards in good time, warn the driver and automatically initiate emergency braking if necessary. The evaluation includes reaction time, braking force and the ability to avoid or minimize the consequences of a collision
