Determination of resistance to humidity
Testing standard:
DIN 6270-2
Product information
Determination of resistance to moisture. Part 2: Condensation (exposure in a climate chamber with heated water tank) The purpose of the test is to determine how well a material can withstand high humidity, which can potentially lead to problems such as corrosion, swelling, or deterioration. Typically, samples of the material are exposed to a controlled humidity environment for a specified period of time. The level of humidity and the duration of exposure may vary depending on the requirements of the test. After the exposure period, the samples are examined for visible changes such as blistering, cracking, or discoloration.
