Development and implementation of virtual control units to support software development, integration, and validation in a virtualized environment. This service enables the mapping of functional ECU properties without physical hardware, supports scalable testing, and shortens development cycles. Communication interfaces, software components, and simulation environments are configured and integrated according to project-specific requirements.
Scope of services  
  • Analysis of the system architecture, communication interfaces, and functional requirements to define the virtualization strategy 
  • Configuration of communication interfaces such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet, as well as assignment of signals for virtual ECU behavior
  • Integration of application software and basic software into the vECU environment, taking into account manufacturer-specific specifications 
  • Setup of the simulation environment with virtual test benches and connection to tools such as MATLAB Simulink, CANoe, or Silver
  • Iterative further development of vECU models based on project-specific feedback 
  • Integration into the automated build process for generating current vECUs as part of a continuous integration process
